On January 12, 2024, Texas Governor Greg Abbott took control of the Eagle Pass section of the US-Mexico border with the Texas National Guard. This was in response to the failure of the Biden administration to fulfill it's constitutional obligations to secure national borders and protect from invasion. The council for the Department of Homeland Security has sent a cease-and-desist letter to Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton -- essentially saying get out, or else. Ken Paxton and the State of Texas responded, basically saying Texas will not stand down, and your threats of "Or else" are met with or, else what? 25 states stand with Texas. Show your support!
